Specialized learning programs
White Oaks Learning Development offers a range of services designed to meet diverse learning needs. The programs are built on research-backed methodologies, ensuring comprehensive support and significant improvement for each student.
One-on-one therapy sessions
The individualized therapy sessions provide focused attention to address specific learning challenges. I utilize NILD and FIE techniques to build cognitive skills and enhance learning capacity in a personalized setting. Students are able to have sessions tailored to their processing needs. Mediated learning takes the student to where he or she is ready to go.
NILD: equipping students for learning success
The National Institute for Learning Development (NILD) program is central to my methodology. It empowers students with learning challenges to overcome obstacles and develop independent learning strategies. Incorporating rhythmic writing as a core technique students improve their directionality, focus, mental math, and curb impulsivity.
“Educational Therapy has improved my life. I am no longer embarrassed of my handwriting. I can pay attention to more than one thing at once with more accuracy. Big projects feel less intimidating now that I know how to work through things systematically. I feel confident in my answers now that more basic facts are solidified in my mind. I know how to search for context clues and remember vocabulary meanings faster to understand what people are saying. My sense of direction and directional vocabulary has improved. The benefits of Educational therapy are dependent on the effort you put in, it's important to take it seriously.

FIE: fostering active learners
Feuerstein Instrumental Enrichment (FIE) helps students strengthen their cognitive functions, improving their ability to think, learn, and solve problems. This mediated learning experience fosters active engagement. It benefits both advanced learners and those requiring extra assistance. It truly enables students think more efficiently in every area of their lives.
